Well tonight, in the workout unfortunately, I ran a teeny bit under 5 miles. It was awesome, considering I haven't run in ages. I've gained some weight from not doing XC, due to grades, and just not keeping up on my running. I'm in PE X, athlete's PE, so I should be getting into shape from that, last Thursday's cardio day had me nearly handicapped till Sunday. So hopefully I'll get my unwanted weight off in time for the Feb break, when I go to my friend's beach house. Cross my fingers :D

Everyone have a great week and remember you can achieve if you put your mind to it :)

Projects

I have started a new knitting project-like thing. I am knitting a scarf for my friend, which was supposed to be for me, and hope to knit a hat for Miguel and a scarf for Richard, my biggest inspiration. I also want to knit a sweater vest, a sweater I found in a knitting magazine and a pair of fingerless gloves for Kaitlyn, but those last three will be tough.

I also have kind of started my Prom project. I am hoping to somehow, someway make this dress:
Photobucket
My friend's mother estimates it will be under $100 which is brilliant, considering I was planning on paying close to $200 for my Prom dress. I will be starting that soon, as I only have 3-4 monthes. (Prom's April 18th)

And of course, my largest project, Annaliese and I's film. That should be...well I don't know. My friend, who has agreed in passing to compose the score is going off to college next year. So the score technically needs to be composed this school year, before the film is even filmed. ARG. That pretty much means the storyboarding needs to be precisely correct and perfect, so he can really get a feel for the feel of he horror, which we don't even have down. This really is going to be quite a challenge. But a challenge I am up for :)

So my to-do list:
Read script, storyboard, and talk to John
Finish scarf
Get pattern for dress
Get money for film camp

Ah I also hope to be going to a very nice film camp this summer, SOCAPA, School of Cinema and Performing Arts. It looks amazing but its also almost $3000. The money is due by May, and I have not even $300. I'm praying its going to work out, for next summer I couldn't attend due to the Europe trip. So I'm collecting bottles and cans, I've got my housecleaning job, and hopefully I will be getting a more commercial job as well. I'm hoping my parents will be able to help out a bit, but I can't rely on that.
If you have any money making ideas, please leave a comment! That'd be pretty sweet :)

New haircut

I started the new year off right with a new haircut. I was going for the Freja Beha look, but forgot my picture and had to improvise. The finished product looks nice, but I may have it trimmed shorter. Happy New Years to all. I will finish this later.
